The Royal Hotel, Clacton offers a unique experience for all.

This historical building was first constructed in 1872 but has recently been refurbished and updated to an exceptionally high standard, providing the Big Big Love Weekender with a perfect mix of old and new that caters for every taste. With picturesque views over the Pavilion, the Pier and the Essex coastline, it is the perfect setting for our event in Clacton.

The hotel's professional, friendly staff will be constantly on hand to make our stay here at the Royal Hotel Clacton an enjoyable and memorable one. With stunning interiors, beautiful rooms and a wonderful event space we will all be able to relax and make ourselves at home and allow us to create a magical weekend together.

The BIG BIG LOVE WEEKENDER 7 will be a CHARITY FUNDRAISER (Charity TBA)
So we are taking MINIMUM DONATIONS of £15 for Day passes or

£25 for Weekend passes (both days).

The Local Area

Clacton on Sea, for those that have never visited the area before, is a popular seaside resort and the largest town in the Tendring peninsula in the South East of England on the Essex coast.

The town is full of typical UK seaside entertainment, including Clacton Pier which was named the 2020 'Pier of the Year' to help celebrate it's 150th birthday. Clacton is also full of shops, cafes, bars and food outlets and is one of the UK's most popular seaside resorts, so outside of attending the Big Big Love event, you will be amply provided for.

We are sure that you will enjoy your stay in such a traditionally English seaside resort!

Travel Directions

If you are travelling by train you can travel from London Liverpool Street directly to Clacton-on-Sea by Greater Anglia trains which has a regular service and is only a ten minute walk to The Royal Hotel.

To get there by road, Clacton can be found by travelling on the A12, taking the A120 junction
and then via the A133 all the way into Clacton.

as well as Free on-road parking within a short walk as well (roads off of Holland Road).
